Crystl Faye Horton-Friedman is currently Main Sommelier at Del Frisco’s in New York City, where she has been for over 8 years. She is also the Consulting Wine Director for Racing Restaurants of America.
Before becoming a sommelier, Crystl earned a BA from Muhlenberg College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her wine training includes the American Sommelier educational program, the Windows on the World Wine School with Kevin Zraly, and the Court of Master Sommeliers Certified Sommelier. She teaches Del Frisco’s Wine Classes and is an instructor for American Sommelier.
Crystl is a published wine writer for Clipper Magazine—having been featured in over 12 issues—and tasting notes for Bordeaux NY, as well as various clips for local press.
