Michael Meagher is currently the Luxury Account Manager for Treasury Wine Estates. A graduate of Harvard University and the Culinary Institute of America, Michael has held a number of positions in the beverage industry at BOKX 109, Sel de la Terre and L’Espalier.
Michael is in the process of completing his Diploma of Wine Studies from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust in London and was the winner of the 2010 Chaine des Rotisseurs Best Young Sommelier competition. He founded the Boston Sommelier society in 2009 and currently serves as chairman for its 140 members.
Michael also received a Master of Arts In Gastronomy at Le Cordon Bleu. His Masters thesis, “A New Twist on Tradition: Professional Reaction to Screw Cap Wines in the United States,” was excerpted in the December 2008 Journal of Culinary Science and Technology.
