Matthew Feddock has spent the last four years as a sommelier. Currently working toward the Guild of Sommeliers program, Matthew has completed all of the American Sommelier programs.
Passionate about a number of interests, Matthew notes that the more things he tries, the harder it is to find a favorite. He recommends reading Ronald S. Jackson’s Wine Science: Principles, Practice, Perception which he feels provides an accessible overview of the industry. His first position in the wine industry was as a sommelier at La Goulue. Matthew also finds great joy in teaching others about wine and the fine art of service.
As the General Manager of the Dressler Devlin Metro Food Corp., Matthew is responsible for overseeing the operations of three restaurants in Williamsburg (Brooklyn), including Dressler, the restaurant Zagat’s calls “Brooklyn’s answer to Gramercy Tavern.”
