Brandon Tebbe’s advice? Always try a different wine when you are at the wine store. Drinking everything is the only way to find exactly what you like. Passionate about wine, Brandon has been studying for the BSIA, TopSomm, Best Yong Sommelier and the Master Sommelier exam, all in 2011.
Currently a part time server and sommelier at the Broadmoor’s Summit, Brandon will be transitioning to the Broadmoor’s Charles Court restaurant as Chef Sommelier. Before committing to the restaurant business, Brandon spent some time as a computer technician, though he spent time in the kitchen when he was young and helping his dad.
Brandon’s fondest wine memory is his 30th birthday celebration that included his family, friends, and mentor Master Sommelier Doug Krenik. Even then he acted as sommelier more than honored guest. His favorite parts were drinking Krug from his cellar, and finishing with a bottle of Louis Roederer Brut Premier to hose down the remaining guests.
