
Argjent Sela has been a sommelier for nearly 15 years and has met thousands of customer requests. The most memorable? The customer who asked for a red wine spritzer made with the most expensive red wine on the menu.
Argjent has been at LuNello since 2006 and has developed a wine list of more than 350 wines while also introducing a very successful and profitable wine by the glass program. Born in Macedonia, Argjent has lived in the United States since the mid- 1990s. Had he not become a sommelier, Argjent thinks he might have been a doctor, but a party he attended where Chateaux Cheval Blanc was served so impressed Argjent that he chose to become a sommelier.
Argjent is an alumnus of the American Sommelier educational program.
He is currently reading Jamie Goode’s The Science of Wine from Vine to Glass and recommends reading Decanter and Wine Spectator. A fan of Bruno Mars’ music, Argjent is committed to making good things happen everyday.
