Adam Curling planned on being a chef and received degrees in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University. Adam also completed wine training in Koblenz Germany and has advanced level certification from the Guild of Master Sommeliers.
Currently the Wine Director/Head Sommelier at Wynn Resort’s Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare, Adam has also served as Sommelier at Michel Richard Citronelle (Washington DC), The Inn at Little Washington (Washington, VA) and Rosemary’s Restaurant (Las Vegas, NV) and wine director at M Resort, Spa and Casino (Las Vegas).
Adam has also written for Vintrust and is consultant and co-owner of The Grape Brokers, where he assists private collectors with the acquisition of fine and rare wines.
Adam’s current favorite wine regions are Priorat and Chablis or Savennieres. He recommends Ursula Hermancinski’s The Wine Auction Market.
His best day yet has been the day his son was born, though an outrageous 2006 New Years Eve celebration at the Inn at Little Washington still remains his favorite wine service experience.
