Director of Operations, American Sommelier

Rachel Koblic

Rachel is a graduate of the American Sommelier Foundation and V&V Courses, though her background hasn’t always been in the wine industry. Having graduated with a degree in History and Theater from Princeton University in 2004, she spent a year in Paris as a children’s librarian and a year in Vancouver at a consulting firm before moving to New York City to work in recruiting at a hedge fund.

Rachel was drawn to the multi-disciplinary and intangible aspects of wine studies and is delighted to have made the career change. Currently, Rachel works on business and curriculum development for American Sommelier.
